Voted last year as Hollywood’s hottest performance female DJ, Casey Connor takes the music into her own hands. Known on both coasts over the past 10 years in the world of club DJs, Bar Mitzvahs, Weddings and hundreds of high profile events, Casey Connor brings a fresh perspective to the parties she DJs and Emcee's for. Her clientele include Britney Spears, P. Diddy, Jennifer Lopez, Donald Trump, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West and a never ending list of Hollywood’s most famous names although Casey feels just as comfortable and confidant providing the same entertainment for her non celebrity clients. Casey continues to add significant clients to her already impressive resume including “Grey’s Anatomy,” Entertainment Weekly, People Magazine, Rolling Stone, the MTV VMA’s and Fox’s New Year’s Party and has become the “go to” female in the industry to make your wedding and private event an affair to remember. Casey’s high energy style and turntable skills have made her one of the most sought after DJ’s in L.A. and N.Y. Shane Baker
Shane Baker is no stranger to music and dance culture. His work over the years has taken him beyond both coast landing him guest spots in clubs in Mexico and Europe playing for the toughest crowds and music aficionados. His experience as a global house DJ has taught him the art of carefully selecting music to create the perfect mood, build a dance floor, and to keep it full through the night. Shane has been involved with the development of dance culture on the West Coast not only as a DJ/Promoter, but more recently as a producer for close to 20 years. His music has been circulating on every major retailer site geared towards DJs and Music collectors for a few years now both independent and commercially. His original music ranges from melodic down tempo to modern dance floor material, which has made their way on playlists on the charts of noteworthy DJs both foreign and domestic. One of the special niche’s Shane has created in his work with music, is creating runway soundtracks for the fashion industry. While serving under the US Armed Forces Europe, his first productions were composed for Italian designers such as; Alessandro Dell Acqua, Ghost, Sisley. From there he went to produce close to 35 individual runway sound tracks for designers ranging from Ricky Lizalde-NYC (Bravo’s Project Runway), to denim label David Khan-LA, Lauren Elaine-LA, Sergio Alcala of Mexico City, Ximena Valero of Miami, and for many local independent designers. This sparked interest in pursuing productions of his own and he was hired to produce shows for commercial street wear labels such as; Active Ride Shop and Jedidiah /USA. Shane’s passion for music and attention to detail has not only gotten him guest spots DJing for a wide variety of clients, but also as a special event’s host. He continues to work on his catalogue of releases and is always looking for unique ways to bring music to different audiences.
Jon Krause
Jon is an experienced and professional deejay. He has a strong background in sound production and sound reinforcement that spans more than 25 years. His attention to detail and his knowledge of the business make him one of the top performers in the San Diego area. Jon has a style that is relaxed yet upbeat and is good at making anyone feel at home on the dance floor. He takes the time to get to know each of his clients on a personal and intimate level ensuring he delivers the performance you want and deserve for your special day. Jon is calm under pressure and can handle any obstacle that may arise during the planning or execution of your event. His diverse taste in music and his ability to adapt to any situation have enabled Jon to be involved in over 700 events. He is comfortable both as a deejay and in the dual role of deejay and master of ceremonies. “My philosophy is really simple – I don't believe that you should have to worry and stress about the entertainment at your event. That is my job. Let me worry and stress for you. You can rest assured that if you hire me - I have it all handled. When Jon is not deejaying, he is practicing deejaying. Seriously - He is very passionate about it. He also enjoys a diverse set of hobbies that include everything from r/c airplanes to restoring his 1964 GMC pick up. Jon is happily married and has 4 daughters and 1 son.
Scott Zimmerman
Scott joined the Events By Design DJ team shortly after the company’s inception, because he believes wholeheartedly in the concept of clients helping him design the music around their event. While many DJ’s in the industry have a concept in mind when they meet with their clients, he prefers to hear the client’s vision before helping to guide them through their musical options. Scott’s experience and easy-going nature allow you to feel comfortable knowing that you are in the hands of a professional that can handle just about any situation. As an avid music lover, Scott enjoys many genres and can help blend together your musical styles and help you to create the perfect blend for your event. When he is not DJ’ing, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Alyssa and his dog Riley.
